Anyone tried DMSO for hair loss?

I stumbled on DMSO while reading about alternative treatments and got curious. Has anyone actually used it for alopecia or hair thinning? Just wondering if it helped or made things worse. Hoping this post gets a lot of attention so I can survey among people who tried already.

mixing it with minoxidil people say it can supposedly help penetration but it'll also take whatever is on your skin into your bloodstream, people have said it worked anyway but I mean, its still a chemical and we dont really know the impact in the long use

I've heard that too, it can definitely enhance absorption, but there are still some uncertainties involved. Some people say it works for them, but we really can't overlook the concerns about long-term safety. I'd love to hear from anyone who's actually tried it out.
