Alopecia after an illness?

A few months ago I caught the measles from my son because I didn't have them when I was kid and like most adults it was a horror show. After a few weeks I managed to get on my feet and shortly after that I noticed that my hair loss journey began. Is there a correlation or just a coincidence?

Your body essentially hits a 'reset button' and diverts resources to fighting the illness, which causes a large number of hair follicles to go into a resting phase. After a few months, those hairs fall out, which is what you're seeing now

Wow, didn't know our bodies would react in such way, amazing. Now for the most important question. You mentioned it's temporary, so I'm guessing it's going to be a while before I start to see my hair going back to how it was? Is there a way to speed up the process?
