Hey everyone, hoping for some advice here about my sister. She's 17, and she's been dealing with some pretty tough hair loss lately. It really breaks my heart to see her feeling down like this and having a lot of anxiety every time she washes or combs her hair and sees how much she's losing.

She's now thinking about just shaving her head to deal with it, which I totally get.

If she does, we're trying to figure out some cool and comfortable head covering options for her. You know, things like hats or scarves.

Does anyone have suggestions for what might work well or any ideas that could help her out?

My cousin faced this challenge when she was 19, and she ended up shaving her head, she totally owned it! For head coverings, she preferred soft bamboo turbans since they're really breathable, and she also liked satin-lined beanies for the chillier days. First off, major props to her for even considering taking control like that, shaving can be empowering. As for coverings, bamboo turbans, satin-lined caps, and soft jersey wraps are lifesavers....skip anything itchy or synthetic
